Sunday, my mom and I went to Tannehill to the "trade days". It was okay - they didn't have any crafty stuff there so that was disappointing. I did see A LOT of funneral flowers up for grabs. A sign of the times ahead? After that Mom and I went to see her grandchildren and we played with Nerf Guns and jumped on the trampoline. It was good!
Late Sunday afternoon Kristi and I met up to take a walk in Mountain Brook with Fred Astaire. It was so lovely and we decided (or really Kristi decided) that we would start the Couch to 5K program. I have done it once before and it works. Two years ago I was at the point where I could run 6 miles without stopping. So that was sweet. Then I hurt my foot and I lost it. I lost my running mojo (although I question if I ever had 'running mojo' but whatever). So we are going to start tonight on the Couch to 5K program. We are going to use the Cool Running guide found here http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
I am hoping to blog about it so I can make myself accountable to all of my faithful blog readers who never comment on my posts :-)
Anyway - I took some pictures of the walk - here is a really pretty tree. There is a Mansion behind it.

Thanks Guess for commenting on my post! I am sure it wasn't my sugar coated guilt that made you comment ;)
Well, your sugar-coated guilt has worked on another blog stalker;) Anyway, I love that Mountain Brook Park! Also I'll be happy to note your progress on your running. I really need to be running myself- really gotta work on this baby tummy!
