I forgot to post this a while ago. But on February 21st, Kristi and I went to go see Loudon Wainwright III play at the Library Theatre. I know, right! At the library! What gives?! Actually – the Library Theatre was actually pretty nice! http://www.thelibrarytheatre.com/ And afterwards they had coffee, lemonade and cookies for all of the ‘patrons of the arts’. I will totally go again if someone good plays there again.
Anyway – Loudon. He played an amazing set! I laughed a lot and he was very entertaining. I was so bummed that I didn’t get a picture – photos were strictly forbidden while he was on stage.
After the show Loudon came out to sign CD’s and take pictures. I wanted to buy a CD but they only took cash! Seriously? Who carries cash anymore!? I had about $3 and Kristi had about $4. No dice. Wasn’t going to happen. He/She saw him a few months ago. Plus, his facial expression was pretty much exact from the night we saw him :-)
